Sash Windows
Our hardwood timber vertical sliding sash windows are constructed using hardwood timber, spiral balances or using lead weights and pulleys system. Windows can be manufactured with or without slim timber glazing bars depending on your design requirements. Our windows are suitable for both commercial and domestic properties. Our company has over 40 years’ experience in restoration and refurbishment of sliding sash windows in period dwellings. Depending on your design we offer single glazing, standard or slimlite double glazing or triple glazing. Windows are glazed using timber glazing beads as standard but a monument multi-purpose putty replacement can also be provided.
Casement Windows
Casement windows are the most popular in Ireland. We at Callaghans Joinery manufacture contemporary style flush casement windows or the more traditional stormproof windows. Our skilled staff will also handcraft shaped windows to your specification e.g. arched windows, we also provide large scale window installations.
Our windows come with single glazing, standard or slimlite double glazing or triple glazing. Low-E Glazing, Argon Gas or Krypton Gas filled units with a Black, Warm Edge Spacer Bar can be provided for double and triple glazing.
